I'm still waiting to hear if it will have larger font sizes for viewing by those with really bad eyesight. So far it doesn't look like it. Does anyone know?

Awesome! This v3 of Kindle will now give Gutenberg's Press some real competition, while saving the environment and keeping the American flagship innovation alive and well!! Congratulations to Jeff Bezos and his hugely talented Amazon team on this ground breaking milestone.

It is plain but not colorful. Compared with the ordinary reading, the pleasure of reading forward and backward and the turning pages
is gone. I really appreciate the technology. But for the people used to read in traditional way, it just seems to lack of something except it is light compared with heavy-weighted books. If the instrument can be desinged more human-familiar, I guess I will love to replace my learning and reading habit for it. Nowadays, I still have some doubt for the small screen and maybe easy to break and hard to maintenance instrument..... Sincerely Chris form Taipei

Well, I noticed it has the feature that allows you to make the font size bigger in the video. So I guess that would help.

The portion of the video with the student with the cherry trees, looks like it was filmed in the University of Washington quad.
This looks like a great product. It would be interesting to see how e-textbooks look on the display, I may not have to carry around heavy textbooks anymore.

Hi, I'm a contractor, and I took a look at again at the lights in the bedroom (1.54SEC into demo?) and they look fairly easy to duplicate. Any good lighting store with an on sight repair shop could make them. its just painted conduit with simple light fixtures and bulbs.
Need more info, e-mail me at Robert@VisionaryBuilders.com. Good luck!

Where will it all end?! I have the Kindle 2 and really like it and use it a lot - very user-friendly. Kindle DX sounds great, though.

I have a question - when buying books on Kendle can you also send it to a friend so they can read when you are finished? Many people buy books and trade them or give them away, and I am wondering if this is a capability as well?
