I am a handyman, independent thinker and writer. My book "Common Sense II: How to Prevent the Three Types of Terrorism" is on Amazon & Kindle. It solves terrorism, including smuggled nuclear bombs. It's a solution based on respect for human rights. It's tolerant, non-technical, non-religious, practical, simple,with controversial parts. It isn't easy. I argue that terrorism is a citizens' problem, not merely a police / government / military problem for experts. I appreciate Amazon for letting unknowns like me express their honest opinions in forums and books; indeed, Amazon is one of the few places left where people can try to have real political discussion.

I am concerned about the sad state of American democracy -- financial meltdowns, partisan gridlock, corruption, inability to confront long term problems like social security underfunding or the possibility of nuclear terrorism. I think the political process is broken. I don't think people are citizens any more, but rather apathetic bystanders who don't know how to participate. The only way to fix things, in my view, is to craft a new Constitution, based on the current one, to fix these problems.

I summon a Second Constitutional Convention to meet in Independence Hall in Philadelphia beginning July 4th, 2009.
