I really enjoyed the collector's edition strategy guide of Pokémon Black and White, but this one is very subpar to the previous effort. The entire order of the game is off, and it takes some time to get used to skipping through pages and such. The area maps are displayed in confusing ways, the ones featuring caves are too small and too dark to be looked at without straining the eyes, and a few maps were mis-marked, leading me in the wrong direction and looking for items that were not where the map claimed they were. Some of the coverage pretty much said, "Figure it out for yourself," especially regarding the Strange House and the gate switches in the Plasma Frigate. This album is missing something: James Newton Howard. Were there scheduling conflicts or something? I love HZ's work, but it lacks Howard's touch that is so apparent in the earlier scores. Still, it's not bad. Selina's theme is really delightful, but it makes me wonder, since Howard put some of the light into Gotham through Harvey's themes, what could have happened had he been a part of this....Read more
