For those of you who gave the Vue V700 one or two stars mostly because of the lack of a refillable cup, or the lack of choices for flavors of coffee, well there are no more excuses. Solofill Cup V1, which appears to be exclusively sold at Bed Bath and Beyond Stores (Just purchased mine today for 20 bucks). It appears to be the very first customized Refillable Vue cup, and the reservoir that carries the coffee is huge, allowing a large amount of coffee to fill into the Vue Cup fill area for those larger cup sizes. What's even better is one can take advantage of those, "Strong" settings now. I can now drink my Dunkin Donuts coffee, and not have to go hunt down a store that actually sells the Vue packs that pretty much don't exist anywhere else than online or at BBB stores. Yay for Solofill. FYI, this product is sold on Amazon, but is currently out of stock (As is expected) but you can find it at this web address:
Hope this helps you all out there. I am sure this may cause an onslaught of people to hit up Bed Bath and Beyond, so go get your refillable cup. I was shocked when I saw them. I was like, "That must be a K-Cup in the wrong area," than at closer inspection, I realized it indeed is the new design for the Vue cup. I didn't even give it a second thought. Its a ripoff, but they can do that when they have a monopoly, since no other brand, including Keurig has even made one of these refillable cups yet. Keurig isn't in a hurry, since they want to keep selling those Vue packs that are at price premiums that are ridiculous. Enjoy!
UPDATE (SAME DAY!) DO NOT GET THE REFILLABLE CUP FROM SOLO!!!!!! IT'S AWFUL.
due to the flawed design, which does not properly allow even disbursement of the water throughout the reservoir, resulting in watery, crappy coffee. I don't recommend this at all. Its' a ripoff gimmick, trust me. Wait until Keurig comes out with one that actually works.
Why do I say, "Idiots"?. Simple. The VRTHD requires a simple learning curve. You have to cup up long stemmed vegetables into small pieces, or else the long fibers will get caught up in the exit pulp tube, and cause the juice, and the pulp with nowhere to go to also exit through the juice exit too, causing you to see a bunch of pulp exit from the juicer. This happens a lot when people do not study what they are spending their money on. I have seen many videos of people throwing and pushing long stemmed vegetables into the VRT without so much as even cutting them up at all, and expecting the VRT to do an efficient job, and then wondering why they are getting awful results. When you treat the machine like it's supposed to be treated, you receive results that you are supposed to be yielding. That's a sure fact. It juices so many items superbly, whether they are soft or hard. But not all items are created equally or treated equally. So when you buy this item, I recommend you look up rawfoods channel where the expert on juicing from discount juicers.com shows you the in's and outs, all procedures with every kind of fruit and vegetable known to man, and how to juice them in the VRT 350 HD, so you cannot go wrong. I ask you to research first. This item is not cheap, but I assure you it's worth your money, health, and then some, if you treat it well, and learn how to actually use it. If you are lazy, and you don't have a clue the art of juicing, I suggest you find a centrifugal juicer, since anyone can thrown anything in there, but you won't get much juice out of those as you would with a slow, masticating juicer. Plus, the manufacturing warranty is 2nd to none, and it's not because it's likely a dud, but it's because the manufacturer stands behind it's product since they know it will last. I also recommend the Omega 8004, and 8006. They are cheaper, but they are not as great at juicing softer items such as softer fruits, but it can make nut butters, etc....Read more
I'll start off by saying one quick sentence: Logitech webcams are PC friendly. Their functionality works well with PC utilities and hardware, but it is extremely, and I mean extremely limited with mac hardware and utilities. When opening this up with a mac, it's use is down to the very basic functionality, and I mean, "Basic." You are not getting your money's worth when you use this on a Mac, unfortunately. The reason I know this is because I have used this brand of webcam on the PC with Windows 7, with a completely different user experience, which-I must jealously state worked flawlessly and wonderfully. It worked with Skype very well, as with all the other apps (ON mac, there is no-and I mean absolutely no options for the apps section, so why does this section even exist?). The quality appears to be okay, but many of the manual functions appear to be turned off for Mac, and there is no way to turn them on, unless you download other software to control the input and output levels, or go into the mac's user control settings for sound levels themselves, which is annoying. Also, in particular with the mac, there are horizontal lines when recording, and the recording often stops all on it's own, and for no apparent reason (Why???). What is worse; Logitech does not appear to desire to configure any of the newer models for Mac users at all (Note: Take a look at the website support forum. They explicitly state their newer webcams will not be supporting Apple products (Really?). This is a travesty. Apple is becoming one of the most widely purchased desktop and laptop computers on the market, and Logitech has chosen not to support them with its new products? Logitech has officially lost a webcam customer for sure. This is crazy. They must be planning on loosing a lot of business....Read more
I would have given this review 5 stars if there wasn't one particular and pretty serious issue. That issue is that this battery case will not charge unless the iphone is detached from it. That's honestly pretty stupid. I used to have a Mophie JuicePack Air, and it charged both the case and my phone no matter whether the juicepack air was attached to the iphone or not (Seated). But this phone, as great as it looks and no matter how great the quality of the feel, I think it's completely haphazard that one has to take the battery/phone case off the phone just to get a simple charge. I've tried to charge this phone with the battery case attached, but it just won't. It stays blinking with one light overnight, and with no charge. So I detach it, and wham; now it starts to charge. I hate that they forgot to set it up to where it will charge with or without the phone attached. Has anyone else even noticed this issue? Because if this issue is only with the one I have, I would probably take it back right away....Read more
I put 2 stars since I think the quality of the material on the outside is great, but I found the areas that Velcro to be extremely weak and flimsy, but I am a very tall guy who was looking for a larger bag than I already owned-making it not feasible for me to effectively use this as a camera bag at all. Looks literally like a child's school bag on me, and that's not cool to begin with. The website as well as people reviewing it, described it as large, or abundant in room. When I received this bag, it was very tiny, hardly fit my things, and although it had a lot of compartments, the bag opening was way too narrow, which would likely cause things to fall out easily the minute one opens the top zipper area. If a camera was sitting on the top; when opened, it would pose a risk to be dropped, and that's not something I want to risk. Amazon needs to put a better quality Velcro in this bag, as it is very weak, doesn't seem to stick very well to the material, and should match the quality of the outside of the bag. I am a freelance professional photographer, and I am disappointed with this bag, unfortunately....Read more
Hands down, this trimmer is super sharp. It does not seem to fail at all in the quality department. I did a few tests on both the "T-Trimmer" included, and the regular one, and both did superbly. I will, however, remind people that you have to use the included oil before using these blades. If you do not, you will not get much accomplished in terms of cutting your hair. It will still be sharp, but the blades will cut ten times better when you oil them up (While it's actually on). I am very impressed with this trimmer. I actually was not expecting to be so satisfied. I had looked all throughout the Amazon.com store, and was not satisfied with reviews of other products. If it wasn't overpriced, it was too cheap, and many of the reviews reflected that, but this appears to be the exception so far. I am satisfied. It has my mark. I am a very critical person when it comes to buying products. I am an avid Amazon.com customer (They have made a lot of money due to my loyalty to the site), so I like to investigate before buying. I ask you all that you do the same. Thanks, and enjoy your product.
BTW, it works right out of the box. I didn't have to charge it before testing it.
This is a wonderful straightener. I had ordered another one that had recently burnt my hair the minute I started using it. The one, I won't lie, I was skeptical about due to it's cheap price, but as soon as I put it to my hair I have to say that I am completely impressed. No smell of burnt hair, and the biggest compliment was how smoothly it went accross my hair, leaving it straight, and I'm not sure if this has some kind of ionizing factor, but I can actually smell it. It's definitely got my vote on quality, and affordability. I'm a guy with shorter hair, and I was looking for something thin, and able to get closer to the root. This does the job....Read more
First of all, do not buy it on Amazon. It's a rip-off on this website. As much as I love Amazon.com, I think Amazon is being pretty stupid in selling this for 157.00. Every single store such as Wal-Mart, Target, etc, is selling this thing for $99.00, so don't shop here for it, just window shop, then go to your local store and get a good deal.
I saw the infomercials about this product a while back, but i shrugged it off as likely being another gimmick on television. I then decided to consult Youtube.com for real accounts of this product, since although the claims seemed too good to be true, I really wanted to believe them, but being who I am, I want to trust but verify first.
As I looked throughout personal accounts which were 100% positive, I found it hard to believe that when people put whole fruits and vegetable in this thing that is actually came out super smooth, as if it was juiced. I have a juicer but it's annoying because it literally is one of the most wasteful products in terms of how much money you will loose constantly throwing away all the wasted fruits and vegetables and fiber that comes from them, so I wanted an alternative. Omg, this thing is crazy. I purchased it on a trial basis from Target for 99 bucks. Also, I noticed that these things are selling like hot cakes, even at the box stores.
I purchased fruit as well, and as soon as I went home, I tried it. The result was nothing less than astonishing, really. I am one of the most critical people when it comes to product quality, and this has to be the best emulsifier/blender I've ever seen or owned in my entire life. I have a blender that is 600 watts, but I wouldnt' dare put fruits and vegetables in it, since I've tried and it comes out chunky, crunchy, and nasty sometimes. This thing, within 30 seconds turned into one super smooth looking color. I put several vegetables in it (Hard ones), along with almonds, and I am not joking when I say that it tasted like watered down baby food. I'm not kidding at all. It tasted soo good. Not once did I experience that nasty, "Grinding feeling," in my teeth. It was literally almost as liquid as a juiced product, but this time with a silky taste rather than just watery. It's not a smoothie in my opinion.
Technically, it's not only the unique blade design, but it's also the shape of the bullet system, which forces the product in a tornado-like manner and at such a high speed that it's nutrients are not only obliterated and chopped, but they are completely turned into an extremely smooth puree. The kind you spend a lot of money for at the store in those overpriced Green drinks that cost between 2.50 and 3.50 each, just for an 8 ounce product (Rip-off). The quality of the actual product is surprising as well. It's a very very heavy metal form. when you hold it, it is small, yet it has a quality feel to it. Best of all, although it's 600 watts, it is quieter than 150 watt motor smoothies I've owned. It's the quietest blender I've had.
I am a true believer in this product not only because of the health benefits of using it, but the nature of the quality it delivers. I am throwing my juicer away, for sure. I found it hard to ,"Want," to juice, but now I simply think it's fun, because there is no mess involved, and nothing is wasted. I hope you all appreciate this review, because I am giving it not because I think it's a great product, but I truly believe products that work like this one does causes people to use them, and makes people think about nutrition and health. Any product that makes me want to be healthy simply by thinking about, "What green drink will I make later on," is honestly priceless for one's lifestyle. Do yourself a favor and buy it! When you do, you'll thank me. Trust me.
First of all, when I opened the package, and started pairing the mouse, I was amazed at how smooth the mouse felt when using it with my macbook pro, but that was the only good part. After time passed, I couldn't tell if the mouse had turned off, in sleep mode, or if it was on. My computer showed it as, "Disconnected," but then the big issues started. Because there is only one button for this product, there is no indicator light that automatically lets you know whether it is off or on. To do this, you have to push the button once, and assume that because a light blinks at you, that it's on, but that's not true. When it's off, it still blinks, and you have no clue whether it's pairing, on, getting turned off, or what. It's ridiculous. Every mouse I've ever had shows a tiny green steady light to let the user know that the mouse is on. This mouse has no lights or buttons indicating anything. I literally found myself clicking the stupid button over and over in hopes that one of the clicks or slow clicks meant that the damn mouse was actually active. The problem is even my computer was confused. It would say connected, and the mouse would go into sleep mode, which actually shuts off the connection to the computer, only to have me sitting there for a minute or two just to wake the stupid thing up. It's a great package, but with too many complicated issues. There should be a dedicated, tactile button that lets you know at face value whether it's active. This is the first mouse I've ever had that is wireless, yet along bluetooth, that has no active indicator light that is steady. I had no clue when the stupid thing was off, so as to know it's not going through a battery drain. I'm definitely taking this product back. A mouse should not be a hassle. It should be as natural as using a pencil, but this pencil is way too complicated. I give it three stars. I would have given it 5, if it was not so complicated at doing letting the user know what's going on....Read more
First was the 10PPM silver solution, which took my bad colds away in the quickest time in my life (not exaggerating). Then I purchased this gel. I originally studied about the positive effects on acne, and sometimes I get acne on my upper back, near my shoulders. The order came in, I immediately tried this gel out right away on an ugly, "Situation," on my upper back, which actually hurt pretty bad. The next day, what was on my back? Not a pimple anymore, but a scab. Back pimples are some of the hardest pimples to destroy, because they return like colds. You can't seem to stop them. This actually did, and I won't go into the nitty gritty, but I will say that silver solution's purpose is to combat bacterial and viral infections, so that your body can come in and combat the situation. Well, the situations are gone on my back. This is THE ONLY stuff that has ever truly helped me with back pimples. I've tried on facial pimples as well, and works wonders. Remember that if you apply to sun exposed areas, put a bandaid on it, as silver reacts to sunlight in a not so beautiful manner (Body surface only, and if you use larger quantities)....Read more
