South Beach Diet Gluten Free Chocolate Chunk bars is actually more enjoyable and tasty than one is led to believe. The Gluten Free part may be a misnomer to most people implying bad taste, but I can assure you that isnt the case. I initially bit into one expecting a bland and bitter taste but was pleasantly surprised by an amazing dive into pure chocolate bliss. The nut bar was on par with most offerings among companies and actually became a must have each day in my mid morning rush at work. I highly suggest trying it out as it is definitely worth trying and tasting. Certainly by volume it also feels a bit more wholesome and good.
Psyren vol 12 covers chapters 99 - 107 with a bonus three page comic and an afterward from the author. I think its a pretty solid offering that has more extras than a few other viz manga titles. But for this content and overall opinion of this volume, I think his art can look pretty off at times. There are at times seemingly totally different characters at times in the close up shots (its supposed to be the same character) and then the far off shots to show action, like in the page spread of chapter 103 or even in the pages for Melchez lance. Its a minor issue but it was prevalent in multiple chapters. Overall it was a good volume and fight.
Good story and pick up from sublime manga. Really enjoyed both volumes and Kano Miyamoto gave her characters both male and female good art. The supernatural story was wonderfully told in all nine chapters plus the bonus and even spanning across two time periods with its deep curse plotline and backstory there and trying to solve the mystery/paradox of it all didnt feel cramped or constrained within the two volumes. In fact it was told quite well and even gave nice amounts of moments between Akihiko and Ren, Akihiko and Eitarou and even for the side characters to have some nice development too. Glad I purchased it and will reread again sometime. Its was really good.
