So far I have bought 2 of these cartridges and both have been great. The only difference that I can see between this and the brand name version, is that perhaps this one prints not quite as black if you were to do a side-by-side comparison. But in the normal office setting you would never really see a difference. That is worth saving over 80% in my book!...Read more
The description of this patch states, "This is the official licensed 2012 Stanley Cup Patch *as worn by the players* during the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals." However, what I got was a patch that is stuck to a hard plastic backing that cannot be removed. Furthermore, there is a warning label on the back of the patch that reads, "Attachement of this emblem to another to another product by sewing, adhesives, or any other means will immediately ruin it's collectible value and is not permitted without approval of the NHL.
How can they sell a patch, that is "worn by the players" but it cannot be used as a patch because of the way it is manufactured? You sit on a throne of lies, National Emblem patch company!
I bought this specifically for my Holga 135 but because of the low-profile of the flash, it doesn't fit on the Holga 135 - the winder on the camer is too tall. My other Holga has in integrated flash, and my Diana comes with a flash, therefore I am not able to use this at all. I wish I knew about this problem before I bought it. This is the second Holga-related mis-match I've bought. Kind of a drag....Read more
I was really looking forward to using this with my brand new Holga 120 I also purchased on Amazon. When I got it, it looked and felt like a quality item, however, when I went to place it on my Holga, the notch on the bottom didn't line up with the tripod mount on the bottom of the camera. The mount is dead-center on the bottom of my camera (next to the B N switch) but the notch on shutter release to accommodate this is slightly off center. Take a close look at yours to make sure it'll work before you buy it....Read more
The moment I heard the first cut on this CD I was intrigued. Three days later and I still can't stop listening to it. I keep rediscovering each song with every listening. It's familiar and new all at the same time. I don't like to use genres to describe music, instead I like to compare it with other things I already know. At first listen, it really reminded me of Sparklehorse, Ween's country album, and Beck all rolled into something that Gram Parsons might be doing today if he were still alive and if he had a penchant for electronic gizmos whirring and buzzing textures into each song. You'd be wise to grab this CD, it's a good one that has gone largely undiscovered....Read more
Let me preface this review by saying that I am a big fan of David Siegel and I have enjoyed his other books. However, "Futurize Your Enterprise" doesn't have the staying power that his other books have. This book was written in the late `90s and therefore Siegel has the same tone that many new media pundits has at that time which is a sense that nothing could sink this ship, not even God himself. As I read through it I cringed time and time again at how irrelevant some of his comments are in today's economy. This book would have been a best seller even today if the bottom had not fallen out of the Internet market. Unfortunately, this reads more like a time capsule or history book rather than contemporary business book....Read more
