i literally spent almost the entirety of this book thinking it was some hilarious parody of the worst book ever written.
...but it was really just the worst book ever written.
i'm seriously baffled that people actually allowed this monstrosity to be published. just... i can't even deal.
honestly, this is not me being dramatic. the story itself was ridiculous. every character was impossible to like (especially flora; holy crap if i met someone like her in real life i would just be baffled). i was almost positive mick was a serial killer but um okay i guess not???? and to top it all off, there were grammatical errors galore, random comma's thrown all over the place...was there… Read more

No, but seriously. The only reason I finished this book was because it was so bad that it was actually keeping me amused enough to turn the page. Plus, I desperately wanted there to be something at the end that could somehow make these wasted hours actually worthwhile. Unfortunately, I was disappointed.
The novel is slowly built up to be one thing, and then transforms into some hideously regurgitated Twilight-esque romance that made me wonder if I was still reading the same book.
