In My Own Words:
Hi, From a mix of happenstance and a handful of my own calculated idiosynchrasies I generally review materials that linger on the dubious fringes of mainstream. If I sometimes color outside the lines and pick on a book or film you hold dear, my apologies. Just trying to speak my heart. From a mix of happenstance and a handful of my own calculated idiosynchrasies I generally review materials that linger on the dubious fringes of mainstream. If I sometimes color outside the lines and pick on a book or film you hold dear, my apologies. Just trying to speak my heart.
I do enjoy listening from readers of my ramblings though, reviews of my reviews as it were, so feel free to drop me a line. If you do, please include the word 'Amazon' somewhere in the subject of your email--helps me filter my incoming. Sugarcoating what you say is optional.
Nice meeting you too.

Johannson is what only she… Read more

Kudos to Simon Beaufoy's endeavor. It's evident that much of the this film's breakneck sizzle came from its writing, and it only gets more layered when you read the screenplay.
The Newmarket series has become a bit like the book version of the "DVD extras". These scripts include interesting tidbits ranging from introductions by people involved to color stills from the sets. This should explain why the script is triple… Read more

Descriptions to come soon. First, making a list for myself. Hoping this is a pointer to some interesting films for you.
This is no particular order, but it's limited to movies that would merit at least a 7/10 score on IMDB. Fabulous comedies, all, and please note that the list is likely to have&hellip Read more
In an "Iron Man" year where the mawkish "Wall-E" fascinated younger
moviegoers and their doting parents, and the unfortunate demise of a
very talented actor preceded his most successful movie to date ("The
Dark Knight"), there were also some stunning productions&hellip Read more
