There are folks who are big fans of Agatha Christie and there are the folks who are not. This is okay because everyone has their own taste when it comes to just about everything from soap to cars to dogs to food and of course books. I began reading Caro's work shortly after the first volume was published and cannot believe that over thirty years have passed. I like others was under the impression that this was to be a three volume project but of course we now have four with a fifth to still be written and published. I hope I am still around for the final volume as I am rather fond of Caro's work.

This work covers the life of LBJ from about 1958 through the transitional period after the death of JFK after 1963. Like the other volumes in this work, for me anyway, it serves multiple functions.
