It is a great gift for kids\young adults. I did not want to spend a lot of money because of how kids are. My daughter is 12 and I wanted to get her a necklace. It was pretty good size for the price and I felt it was a good test to see if she can handle taking care of a girt like this. It was a great price for the size. If she can take care of this she can move on to bigger and better things. If the locket is taken care of this will last her a good while until it's time to upgrade. The diamond in the middle is a nice touch when the sun hits. It may be a small one but it still shines like a little star.

A Great ' Just Because' Gift, March 27, 2010
I bought this gift because I thought it would be a nice surprise. Well I was right. She was very happy with it. I could tell through the phone she had a smile on her face. I knew better than to think the diamond/piece would be huge for this price. I have yet to see it in person. From what she tells me, I feel it was a wise choice for what I paid for it. If you are looking for a nice gift to give for no special reason, other then just to let her know she was on your mind. This is one of those gifts. I chose it as a starter to the collection of jewelry she will receive. It will only get greater later. You won't be disappointed if you are realistic about the price. I heard such great things about the movies Part (1 & 2). I saw they were out on Blu-Ray. They stopped making part 1 on Blu-Ray for whatever reason. Needless to say I was very disappointed with the movie. I am no horror buff by any means, but I do appreciate a good slasher every not and then. It had nothing to make stand out as a premier franchise or separate it from any regular/average horror flick. It wasn't any thing worth me telling you about. The fight scenes were ok but you knew what was going to happen. So it was kind of hard get caught by surprise. I regret buying this one. I was a real let down for me.
