A Shortage of Bodies by Dr. Gary D. McKay
A Shortage of Bodies by Dr. Gary D. McKay
4.0 out of 5 stars a good read, January 30, 2012
This is a good book by Dr. Gary D. McKay. It was well worth reading. The main chatacter is a sheriff, but there are many other characters which are fleshed out and an integral part of the book. He does a good job with the characters and the plot. No need to retell the story, but any mystery fan will like this book.

Advantage Disadvantage by Yale R. Jaffe
Advantage Disadvantage by Yale R. Jaffe
3.0 out of 5 stars a good read, January 30, 2012
This book by Jaffe is an interesting read. It is a story a two cousins and what happens to them over the period of a few years. Normally they watch out for one another. However on the biggest score that one of them makes, does the other cousin really watch out for him or is more involved than that? The one cousin is a numbers man and runs his numbers on the local high schools. He is able to work both sides of many streets. That's enought of the story. I liked this book.

The Language of Bees: A novel of suspense featurin&hellip by Laurie R. King
4.0 out of 5 stars a good, solid read, January 30, 2012
This book by Laurie R. King is about Sherlock Holmes and his wife of a couple of years and the mystery involving a son which he just learns about. The son has a family, at least a wife and child. The wife is murdered and the son is sought for the murder. At the same time Holmes has a hive of bees that disappeared and he is trying to find out what happened to them. It is a good story as those familiar with King's work on Holmes. I enjoyed reading this book and will read others by this author.
