I can't vouch for how durable it is, because I just got it today, but honestly for the price I'm just going to buy several...I can buy five and still have saved 50% off of the lifeproof brand ones. WAY cheaper than any other option for Lifeproof cases that I have found! My main concern was whether it would fit...it does! Yay! I can use my integrated car dock again!...Read more
I am incredibly disappointed in this, and I was so excited to get it! The cup holder is only about 1" deep, which is too shallow for me to feel safe using it that near my keyboard. Even if I wanted to use it, I couldn't, because the tray is so small that my 15.4" Macbook Pro sits partially over the cup holder. There is not a light, as in the picture, but rather just a random hole where the light should be...not really sure what the hole is for, it's pointless. The foam filling isn't as smooth felling as it could be. The only reason that I didn't try to return it is that my child can use it for his iPad or other things in the car.
EDIT: Added 2 stars because I found the light, in a zippered bottom pocket, so now my child can use it for night car reading which makes it somewhat useful. However, the cupholder is still totally useless with my computer, because of its depth and the size of the tray...and the safe cupholder was a BIG feature for me, and the whole thing is really just too small for anything but a netbook or other 13" computer.
It snaps on easily, but is very bulky. It sort of bulges int he back, and at the thickest point about doubles the thickness of my 3rd Gen iPad. It is NOT clear, it is VERY cloudy. I water a CLEAR case to show my back "apple logo integrated" decal. It also makes using the magnetic covers impossible, but I expected that. I gave it one star because yes, it protects.
Back to the search page for me.
The silicone in this is thinner over the click wheel, but not thin enough to allow use of the "wheel" aspect (of course, the "click" part was fine). I had to cut it out, which left it looking a little less than perfect. Other than that, it fits fabulously, and was easy to put on, although not easy enough to remove it every time I decide change songs! I kept thinking that there must be some trick to it, but I finally just gave up and operated on the thing. I have a brand new, 160gb "7th gen" ipod, maybe it would be different on older models? That is sort of an important part of functionality!...Read more
My friend owns this cd, and we have played it until we know every word to every song. It's awesome. But she can't save it to her computer-it's "copy protected." For that reason, I will not buy it. The law states that it is ok to make a copy of a cd for your own personal use. I always make a "car copy" of my cds so they don't get messed up from being in my car, and I use my computer as my stereo (like many people these days), so i need to be able to copy it to my hard drive in order to keep my disc drive free. The most ridiculous thing is that, for 30 bucks, you can buy software to rip copy protected cds. what's the point? RCA is hurting this artist, not helping her. The only people they are helping are themselves....Read more
I know, I know, the lyrics seem trite, ect. I am so tired of people talking about how live has "gone downhill" since Throwing Copper- look, throwing copper was popular because it was CATCHY,and because it came out at the right time...listen to the other stuff that was popular in 1996, and you'll see what I mean. Birds of Pray is just as catchy, but it wasn't a smash hit. Secret Samadhi has some bautiful moments...Its just darker. I don't really see why people think that the lyrics are shallow. They're still just as deep, but their depth takes a different form. Ed K. is singing about more everyday things, and finding the beauty and the ugliness in them...It's strange how so many people have had a miserable, "this puke stinks like beer," I-don't-want-to-be- here moment. But if someone sings about it, it's trite. The Bagels, the oven, the puke...it's all a way to relay a FEELING. This music is meant to get lost in, not just listen to and sing along. This is Sylvia Plath as compared to Anne Sexton...its different, not worse. And the music is beautiful. This an album to absolutely FEEL. If you're actually a LIVE fan (as opposed to a throwing-copper fan), it's a must buy...then again, if you're a live fan, you already know that....Read more
