I just now updated my Flip video software and the update DELETED ALL VIDEOS on the Flip (there were close to 40). I called customer service and they said "Oh, yeah, we're having that happen sometimes and we're working on it. Sorry."
I was outraged that there was no mention of the simple and obvious way to prevent this (i.e., just don't upgrade unless you've already saved everything on your Flip) on their website. I said this to the customer support person, but I don't think they have any plans to implement this. Stinks for me, and it may stink for you. Beware.

I decided to try this phone largely on the strength of the Amazon reviews, but my experience was less than positive.
I bought this phone used; the person I bought it from said it worked fine for him, but he later decided to get rid of landline phone service altogether (including Skype) and use cell phones only. I hooked up the phone and base station as described in the user's guide and was able to go through the first several startup screens successfully (this is a series of screens which are accessed using the phone handset), but when I got to the step where I was directed to sign in to my Skype account the phone displayed a screen which read simply, "Communications Error."… Read more

As a non-economist, I very much enjoyed this author's explanations of fundamental economic concepts. I vaguely remembered a lot of this material from my Econ 101 course in college, but that was several years ago and I wanted to remind myself of some basics. I checked this book out of the library and found myself wanting to highlight so many passages that I decided to buy my own copy.
Gorman covers all the basic economic ideas that you would expect, but I was particularly impressed with his explanation of how money is created (Chapter 15), the effect of unions on the economy (Chapter 9), and key economic indicators and where to find them for myself (Chapter 20)… Read more
