Biography:
I am a Los Angeles Times bestselling author of true crime books including HOLLYWOOD DEATH SCENES, DEAD AND BURIED, MURDERED INNOCENTS, EVIL EYES, and STRANGLER. I also took photos and served as a research assistant for best-selling author Dennis McDougal's THE YOSEMITE MURDERS. My next book, PURE MURDER, will be released in June of 2008.

Albert Mudrian, editor-in-chief of Decibel magazine, one of the best music magazines out there today, pens an excellent celebration of the darkest, fastest, and most intense music out there: death metal (and grindcore). Mudrian's format is simple, for a reason. It streamlines the vast reams of information within these genres and pares it down to the true essence of the keys bands - Napalm Death, Morbid Angel, Carcass - and the key record label - Earache Records.

I grew up in Pearland, Texas, the neighbor to Tom Delay's hometown of Sugarland and also one of the larger towns within his former Congressional district. Every time I go home I have the misfortune of having to stare at "Vote for Tom Delay" signs that litter the yards of my small hometown (still to this day). I wish I could purchase thousands of copies of THE BIG BUY and hand it out to every single one of these brainwashed zombies so they would have a clue as to what is going on in their own back yard.

This slim volume packs one hell of a wallop. Glenn Greenwald cuts to the bone with his mini-book length dissertation on why King George should not only be impeached, but tossed in the clink. Greenwald clearly and ably points out how W's blatant disregard for the Constitution should be grounds for his removal from office. More importantly, he paints a vivid picture as to the destruction W's behavior has wrought over our wonderful country.
