Mike Rohde has put together an excellent guide for beginner sketchnoters, no art degree required! Pick this up if you find yourself dozing off in meetings, lectures, presentations, or conferences, or you feel overwhelmed by all these cool ideas that disappear the day after the event. Sketchnoting might be what you need to pay attention and remember good stuff.
Here's a one-page visual summary / sketchnote of the book:
If you don't have the time to read 304 pages just now or you want to get a quick sense of the book before you buy it, check out my book notes / review at [...] .
The book is packed with clear, practical advice and backed by concrete, diverse stories from successful microbusinesses around the world. I enjoyed reading it, and I'll probably find myself referring to it a lot for inspiration and ideas.
If you like this book, you'll probably also like The Lean Startup (see my notes at [...]). Enjoy!
