We bought two of the FX730's expecting them to be of similar quality with a smaller screen and no swivel comparable to Sony's FX820. The 820 was an excellent, sturdy, well built player. The FX730 is very cheaply built by comparison. I bought service plans on both thinking that way we could at least get a year of of them, but the power cord plug-in (which was never right) finally broke on one of them after less than 6 weeks of use. It was replaced by a refurbished unit, which also requires the power cable to be held just right in order to work.
