I haven't been able to get myself into the habit of daily flossing (mea culpa), but the Stim-U-Dents do a great job. I won't go anywhere without my "sticks", and my hygienist generally doesn't give me too much trouble. (I do floss now and then, just to stay on the up-and-up.) I've been using Stim-U-Dents for several years, and I recommend them highly.

A Best Buy!, October 13, 2009

Okay, I stole "Best Buy" from someplace else, but that describes it. The chargers work great and the price was unbeatable.

It works, but a couple of minuses., October 13, 2009

The Eikon works, but there are a few minuses.

1) It sticks out from the side of a laptop, which makes it vulnerable to being damaged. I usually use it, then remove it.

2) Since it just connects by the USB connector, it doesn't feel very stable. Once you get used to swiping your finger without applying much pressure, that isn't a problem.

3) The Protector Suite software (which I also use with another fingerprint reader) is marginal. They also charge for all upgrades.

4) The software is not yet available for the Mac, although they've been promising it awhile.
