One day a few years ago I was wandering down St. Martin's Hill in Dover, England, when I spotted a couple ahead of me. To my joyful surprise, they were studying the pages of my guidebook Daytrips London that describe a walking tour of that town. Oh, how I wanted to stop and converse with them! But I am much too shy, so instead I discreetly tailed them to see how closely they followed the route. They did well, and I was happy.
Now there is a better way for writers and their readers to open a dialog. Thank you, Amazon, for this Connect program. SO, I'd love to hear from anyone who has used any of my Daytrips guidebooks. Whether your experiences were good or bad, any commentaries will help improve my future efforts. Or if you just have a question or comment, I'll try my best to answer. And thank you.
