In My Own Words:
I only do reviews for books that I can give 4 or 5 stars (very few exceptions to this). There are several reasons for this:

1) If the book is terrible, chances are I won't finish it. Life's too short, and there are too many good books to finish reading books that won't add value to me. And, since I didn't finish the book I don't feel it is appropriate to review it.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali grew up in Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and Kenya. Her childhood was unkind and she endured more heartache, abuse and tragedy than most people can ever imagine in an entire lifetime.

When her father arranged her marriage to a man from Somalia, living in Canada, she was forced to accept it and flew to Europe where she would wait for her time to go to Canada. During this visit to Europe she began to… Read more
