Web Analytics 2.0: The Art of Online Accountabilit&hellip by Avinash Kaushik
4 of 4 people found the following review helpful:
As with most books, I started by taking a look at a few sample pages of the book before getting deep into it. My first data point was page 248: where Avinash describes elegantly a case study on measuring offline applications using Google Analytics. Exquisite. Than, on page 279 he shows how to analyze video influence on revenues. Amazing.

After leafing through the book for a while I went back to the beginning and I really enjoyed the way Avinahs Kaushik links the content; bringing basic and important concepts and very advanced techniques side by side. Liam Knows What To Do When Kids Act Snitty: Coping&hellip by Jane Whelen Banks
1.0 out of 5 stars Liam is a bit immodest, February 17, 2009
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
This book is very simple in terms of drawings, therefore I hoped to read a nice rich story. However, Liam is always doing these things that he considers amazing (although I don't agree very much with his concept of greatness). When his friends disagree with him, the author's advice is: "Just ignore them and know inside that you are wonderful"

Although I do think that children should learn to recognize their value and be self-confident, I think they should know that sometimes they are wrong as well. And by the way, I don't agree that kids act snitty so often, kids are much more honest than adults.
Melvin Might? (Trucktown) by Jon Scieszka

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Although the book is colorful and beautiful, I found the story a bit frightening. A truck falls on a huge hole and nothing happens? What does it teach my son? Looks like a very non-dangerous thing...

But if your kids like trucks, this book is very nice, I like the drawings and the way the author humanizes all kinds of trucks.
