I think the author's material is fascinating as are his first hand accounts of meeting with leaders from all over the world. He has many fascinating stories to tell and reading about them made me feel like I was privileged to have the proverbial 'fly on the wall' experience. Very cool!

Siljander offers a radical alternative to typical diplomatic techniques or the bombastic posturing that one often sees in the American conservative community (or amongst radical clerics for that matter). It's fascinating to see his evolution for a staunch hard line conservative to someone who attempts to build real relationships with Muslims.

I really enjoyed this book - it was a fast read and very informative picture of a world most of us will never experience.

The Author did not grow up in Beverly Hills. He did spend some time there when his mother moved there to pursue a career in the entertainment industry but was extremely turned off by the aimless self indulgence of the culture there.

It was really fascinating that an impulsive act by his mom to send him to military school set him on his life's path - deep down he knew that military school was what he needed and he developed a fascination with the Israeli military. An rather uninteresting account (albeit meticulously detailed) of various political squabbles, factions and doctrinal disputes within the upper echelelons of the UPCI organization.

If you feel ill will toward the UPCI and want to entertain yourself with intellectual sounding ammunition, this book may appeal to you. But Fudge misses the point - these organizational entities merely exist to serve the real 'church', which is the baptized body of believers.
