anything & everything discworld is always good. discworld on dvd is better! Discworld animation that stays true to the characters and the books is EXCELLENT!

The casting of Jane Harrocks to voice Magrat (she's played Bubble from AbFab & the voice of Babs in "Chicken Run,") and Christopher Lee as the voice of Death was just too cool!

Good but......, June 27, 2002

This series got off to a slow start but picked up midway with book 2, "Daughters of Darkness" and tapered off with book 7, "Huntress." In
December 1997 book 10, "Witchlight" came out and the book gave the feeling that something big was coming. That this was really just the beginning. It's shame we never get to it.

We haven't seen a book from L.J. Smith since. It's been almost 5 years and I have feeling we won't be seeing the installment in the series anytime soon. After having to wait this long the momentum is just... GONE. LOST.

Before the Legendary Journeys..., July 24, 2001

Considering they used pretty much the same production team as they did with H:TLJ, it was okay. No it wasn't the same, but it was close. This is before Hercules had his legendary journeys. It shows young Herc trying to impress his father and forging an unlikely friendship with Ioalus to help their new friend Jason, heir to the throne of Corinth. With the same crew that brought us "HTLJ" & "XWP" it's perfect.

Kevin Smith as Ares, Michael Hurst as a jeweler, & Meighan Desmond as Discord make appearances.
