Just as I suspected, Cybele Pascal's new cookbook is beautiful, simple, and full of delicious recipes! Tonight I made the Mac 'n Cheese and was simply amazed! My daughter, who is allergic to dairy, eggs, nuts, and wheat, loved it!! Thank you, Cybele, for putting together yet another wonderful, helpful book for those of us who deal with multiple food allergies every day!...Read more
i HATE when people are SO sensitive about one little thing and then they make it one or two stars..i think people should brighten up a little and not be so sensitive. someone said "you cant see the screen" everyone eles can. get glasses if you cant see.. if anyone agrees with me please do a review and say that you hate it when people are over sensitive. if you think im being over dramatic post shut up and play the game.. anyways i ahte how people do that and people who cant see will get glasses.

Ok, this story starts off rather slow with no apparent conflict development, but if you stick with it, you will realize you are drawn into the book by multiple subtle conflicts and fascinating historical events. The symbolism in the book is beautiful with the howlers, the lacuna, and others. 'The Lacuna' is a perfect name for the book as it refers to many things in the story: the water hole, a missing piece of his manuscript, and missing pieces of his misunderstood life. If you are a fan of historical fiction, you will love this book as it tells the story of the Mexican and Russian 'revolutions' as well as the post World War II anti-Communism hysteria in the United States. Well done, Mrs. Kingsolver!...Read more
I ended up purchasing this vacuum when I was looking for a toy vacuum for my 3 year-old. He LOVES to sweep, so I was planning on getting him a toy sweeper when I came across this model in the vacuum aisle at Wal-Mart. It was the same price as the toys, and it actually worked! With the telescoping handle, we could size it just for him. Once we got it home, he spent the next 2 hours vacuuming my house. It's not too heavy or too loud for him (not sure what the other reviewer was talking about). He calls it 'My red sweeper.' So, if you're looking for a working vacuum for your child, try it out!...Read more
I have a 2 year old boy who loves balls and figuring things out. If the balls in a toy are free, he tends to throw them around the house and subsequently lose most of them. This toy is a HUGE hit with both him and me. He loves to get the balls down through the different levels, and I love that he can't get his hands on the balls. It will keep him busy for 30 minutes at a time! Way to go, Fisher Price!...Read more
An inspirational true story of the hardships and triumphs of entrepreneurship. Ideal for any inspiring entrepreneur looking to raise capital. The book is extremely practical. Each chapter ends with a tip on how to be a success and leader - with themes such as "Venture Investing 101", "Valuation", "Hiring", "Working with teams", and "So you want to be an entrepreneur?". The book also provides a great overview on business plan writing and a "Screening to startup in 4 steps" tool. In all, the book is full of case study material and tools for the MBA; full of inspiration and street smarts for the MBR (masters in business reality)....Read more
I usually use a leading detergent, but I picked this up at a local natural foods store. I have been very pleasantly surprised. It cleans very well and the scent is wonderful. I have diapers to wash which is a real test. After washing with the leading detergent, there was still a bit of a nasty smell. After washing with method, they smelled fresh and clean! I like that it's a natural product as well....Read more
This toaster is very attractive, a nice size, and works very reliably. I like the digital readout in the front and the ability to dial the toasting level. The digital number is difficult to read, though, unless you are right in front of it (you have to be about 4 feet tall). The dial goes up to 9 or 10, but anything above a 4 results in burned toast. I can't imagine ever using the higher levels. I like the defrost and bagel features....Read more
