In My Own Words:
Anything to do with books, CD's, magazines - love it all. I love that people from all over the world share their opinions and reviews for the rest of us, and I hope that mine are as helpful to everyone as the ones I've read have been to me.
Thanks for stopping by, and happy reading/listening/viewing/gardening/etc!!
I was really excited to get this coffee maker after years of brewing full pots of coffee for myself and rarely drinking more than half.
I was disappointed immediately. I guess I've grown fonder of stronger coffee since switching primarily from brewed coffee to americano's, but the coffee that this machine brews - even when using a dark roast pod - is just too weak for me. It also unfortunately has a strong plastic taste/smell to it, even after washing it with purified water and making ~30 cups of coffee.
Honestly, I'd rather just make a full pot as it turns out to be cheaper and easier than brewing several single pods with less water.
1: It looks really cool. I know that shouldn't be the first thing I list, but it does. Everyone who sees it comments on how innovative and cool it looks. 2: Stores knives of varying sizes with ease, and you don't have to stab multiple slots to remember which one your knife actually goes in. 3. Heavy/Sturdy - was afraid that it would tip over if it got too top heavy with handles, but that hasn't been an issue.
1. Only one - it doesn't hold as many knives as some of the more traditional knife blocks, but then again - I've realized as a result that I don't need as many knives as I have, so I've pared down. Pun intended.
