In My Own Words:
I received a degree at Western Washington University in Accounting (of all things!), but one has to make a living. I also attended Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen and Peninsula College her in Port Angeles. After retiring, I finally settled down to write my books since now I have all kinds of time. I grew up in a small fishing village down the coast of the Pacific Northwest and that's where all… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best Who-Dun-Its!, October 17, 2009
I love this family - but not in a good way! Cassandra and Mark - unhappy in their marriage because she spends too much time away from home at her boutique; Cassandra's sister Stephanie and her husband Trey, who also buries himself in his work, leaving little time for his wife. Krysten and Danny, whose ex girlfriend stalks him to the point of outrage. Is it any wonder there's some cheatin' going on!?
Enter the serial killer who murders in the name of God to empty the town of "sinners", starting with a prostitute; then a well-known politician and his playmate while his own wife sits at home unaware of the goings-on in their neat little life. But when the killer chooses members of this… Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Children will adore this story!, September 30, 2009
The Muffin Family has quite an unusual premise going for it. My 7 year old grandson loved it, of course, and another 12 year old girl also liked it. They said they look forward to the next in the series! What was so interesting to the kids is how Nellie baked up the Muffin Family and the names, Berry, Cherry, and Chip are wonderful names for the children - like some of the ingredients used to make muffins - so imaginative. I can't say much more without giving away the plot. It's one delightful book and I recommend it to youngsters everywhere!

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't miss this one!, September 2, 2009
We Interrupt this Date is a tale of love, family, and one woman's redemption as she tries to take back control over her own life - by taking a "Time out" from her free-loading family. As they move into her home, one by one, - her sis and baby and a dog, her son and his girlfriend, and her bossy mother, Susan ends up with four adults, (thought her son and his girl eventually leave) one baby, and three dogs to contend with and take care of. The situation is enough to to drive anyone out of their mind in the same situation. Then to top it all off, an old flame returns to town and she must put her family first - as always - and cannot pursue a relationship with him. Her bossy mom keeps telling… Read more
