New in books: just out from Tom Negrino and myself is Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 for Windows and Macintosh: Visual QuickStart Guide. Amazon shows it as not yet available, but we have our copies, and I've heard reports of it showing up in bookstores around the country -- check it out!

Only fits some laptops, September 13, 2006

We bought this lock to use with a new 13.3" MacBook. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit properly in the MacBook's security slot. It did fit into the security slot of some older laptops, but we're going to have to buy one from another maker in order to secure the MacBook.
