This is the latest example I've seen of a certain type of tiny, infra-red (NOT radio) controlled, short duration rechargeable battery equipped toy car, and it shares the pluses and minuses of its class. Since it uses four (not included) AA batteries both to charge the car's internal battery AND to control it, it is something of a battery hog. It will chew through your AA batteries fairly quickly. It will take longer to charge the car than it will run, but that won't be as noticeable as you might expect because chances are you won't be running it for 8 minutes in a single burst.
