I was born and grew up in Lexington, KY. I have an earned doctorate in theology, and teach an Adult Bible Fellowship class on Saturday evenings at Southland Christian Church.

I am proud to be a member of the USAToday 2007 All American Teacher Team, and a Nationally Board Certified teacher. I am also an author.

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade by Microsoft Software

Just did a clean install over Vista Home Premium. Love it!

I'm giving it 5 stars rated over Vista. I would give it 3 or 4 stars as an upgrade over XP.

Funny thing is, I have Vista Ultimate on another computer which runs much better (specs are the same) than the Home Premium ever did. I have no plans to upgrade that unit.

Win7 runs faster than Vista, and is more intuitive. The hover feature on the taskbar is nice. The The Jump feature puts a lot of material at your disposal in hurry. Also nice. Duracell Rechargeable AA NiMH Batteries, MIGNON/HR&hellip by Duracell

I used these in my digital camera, and they didn't hold a charge after less than a hundred cycles. Very disappointed in these. Expected more. On the other hand, I have Energizers that are still doing just fine after two years. Would not recommend Duracells for heavy duty rechargeable use.

As the author of a similar book on this subject, I offer kudos to Julia Thompson on a work well done!

As the title suggests, this work is formatted in checklist fashion, and organized quite nicely into sections regarding professional growth, classroom environment, lesson delivery, resources, etc. It is long on practicality and short on philosophy, although brief discussions on the NBPTS and NCLB are not to be missed.
