This book is at my father's office. It's a beautifully bound book and like the title says, an exact reprint. The printing is clear and easy to read. Every time I open it and read it, I feel myself going back in history. I first saw this book when I was about eleven. At first, it was hard to read because the letters back then were a little different (s is sometimes f) and spelling hadn't been standardized yet. People who love books and history will want this book. I heard there were only a limited number of copies printed, so it's quite rare. To put it simply, there are no recordings of Beethoven's Sonatas which have been interpreted more perfectly and more musically than what Schabel has done here. Over the years, I have been collecting CD recordings of Beethoven sonatas by many different pianists. Some have come close to being as good as Schnabel, but none are better. This is my absolute favourite. Schabel is tremendously powerful and dynamic without being crude. He is delicate and treasures the smallest notes. His music sparkles and flows. It probably helps a lot that Schnabel's piano teacher was Czerny, whose teacher was Beethoven himself. (And my teacher's teacher's teacher was Schnabel himself!! :) Whoo hoo… Read more

All things considered, I like this Bible very much and have no regrets about buying it. The Amazon discount makes it more affordable than it would be otherwise. It's very handy and helpful for looking up things, especially when you don't want to pull out that great big lexicon! There are two columns of Hebrew/Greek text on each page with Strong's numbers above each word. The English equivalents for the words are below. On the left of each Hebrew/Greek interlinear column, there is a narrow column with English text (the translation used is _The Literal Translation of the Bible_). Now, for the "but" part.
