Hello, my name is Joseph J Tuttle, and I’m 38 years old. At the ripe old age of ten, the Sun-Sentinel (a Florida based newspaper), did a story about me called…..”Does Joey know the score….Do you want to bet?” I’ve been a horseplayer ever since I was about 12 years old, so that gives me a quarter of a century’s worth of experience. My Father (Seymour Tuttle) was an owner, trainer, and driver of harness horses. He also dabbled a bit in the thoroughbred game. My Father was truly my hero, and this book is certainly dedicated to his memory. My Father passed away suddenly on June 20th 2005. He was 83 years young.
But, over the better part of a 25-year period, he taught me almost everything there is to know about the care and training of any kind of racehorse. It was for about five of those 25 years, that I actually worked as a groom/2nd trainer. He also taught me almost everything I know about handicapping the races. He once said to me…”I can handicap a race better than guys can “fix” it!” I believed him then, and I think he has passed that trait onto me. What my Father meant by that statement was that having a horsemen’s perspective on things is a totally invaluable asset to have, when handicapping a race. And, it is that (a Horsemen’s perspective in/on handicapping horse races), I plan on giving to you the reader.
In writing this book, I’ve made a very concerted effort to try and incorporate as much pertinent horsemanship knowledge into many of the chapters, as a way to better serve the novice, average, or below average horseplayer. I truly believe that after reading this book, you will immediately come away with a better sense of yourself (as a horseplayer), and will soon realize where exactly it is you want to be as a horseplayer. You may come to the realization that you’re always going to be just a recreational horseplayer, in the world of handicapping the races. Or, you might have a wonderful epiphany and realize that maybe you too can become a more successful horseplayer. Maybe, a “professional”!
When I first decided to start writing this, it was on the encouragement of many different family members. So, here it is and I hope it helps educate you a little more, so that your next experience at the track will also be a winning one.

My understudy has done a great job with his forecasting. I'm only giving it 4 stars, because, he stole a huge part of my title. My football prospectus book is for Sept 12th thru the 20th, and is up for sale now, on Amazon.com. It's called: "Tuttle Math". This book isn't near the "value" of mine. Ryan is asking for 5.00 more, and is only giving selections for September 6th. I'm giving out selections from the 12th thru the 20th.
Good luck Ryan, and Good luck to everyone for this football season.
Signed,
Joseph J Tuttle
