Spaceballs Amazon Instant Video ~ Mel Brooks
Spaceballs Amazon Instant Video ~ Mel Brooks
"Spaceballs" is a very funny Star Wars spoof that is mostly just a vehicle to poke fun at Star Wars and a host of other popular pre-1990 movies. This is a great comedic cast, including Mel Brooks (President Skroob / Yogurt), John Candy (Barf), Rick Moranis (Dark Helmet), Bill Pullman (Lone Starr), Daphne Zuniga (Princess Vespa), Dick Van Patten (King Roland), George Wyner (Colonel Sandurz), and Joan Rivers (voice of Dot Matrix).

This is not a very deep movie but it is a lot of fun and is very quotable, especially when watching original Star Wars movie. The movie is a little dated now and I had to explain some of more obscure movie references to my kids, but was still good to… Read more

Goldeneye Amazon Instant Video ~ Pierce Brosnan
4.0 out of 5 stars Good Bond Flim - Recommended, February 12, 2012
"Goldeneye" stars Pierce Brosnan as "Bond, James Bond". It is absolutely worthy of being in the series of Bond flicks and it is one of my favorites.

No plot spoilers from me: The action starts right away and is well paced throughout the movie, punctuated with Bond's normal romantic dalliances, handy gadgets, and witty quips, as he races to to foil the plans of an evil mastermind. That is pretty much the plot of all Bond flicks, but it still works well in this one.

The acting is above normal for a Bond movie, with good villains (for the most part), a solid "M", and new "Q". The special effects and stunts are also very good for the time the movie was made… Read more
Slide Fire Solutions SSAR - 15 Rifle Stock Kit by SLIDE FIRE SOLUTIONS
This Slide Fire stock is a surprisingly fun accessory for the AR-15, allowing for burst firing from a standard semi-auto rifle. The device is legal (as of this review date) and comes with a copy of an approval letter from the BATF since it is basically a controlled "bump fire" device (the trigger is actually pulled once for each shot).

Installing the Slide Fire is fairly straight forward, it requires removing the existing stock and grip, and attaching the new stock and grip over the buffer tube. It literally took just a few minutes to install. The one main issue with this replacement stock is that there isn't a place to attach a sling.

Once installed the stock can be… Read more
