In My Own Words:
Amazon provides our family more time together. I've purchased everything from A-to-Z (Antec USB-Powered Notebook Cooler and the Zojirushi Mr. Bento Stainless-Steel lined Lunch Jar) and items as big as a refrigerator and as small as a pack of gum. I subscribe to Amazon Prime and use Amazon's Subscribe & Save. I recommend both to enhance your shopping experience. The unit announces the battery charge level every time you get in the car. The kit comes with a microUSB port and a DC car charger, which accommodates charging on the go or an overnight charge. Sound quality is very good. The noise cancellation feature makes a difference. I've called my wife when she's on the road and while it… Read more

We used ceramic spoon rests but every one of them ultimately snapped at the handle's curve. We would glue them back together and limp along until we replaced it with another ceramic. This time around, we chose RSVP for the security and practicality stainless steel offers. As for the double-spoon design...yes, yes, we saw it, too. We have two sons, ages 9 and 8. It took them no less than a minute to break out into uncontrolled laughter when we pulled the RSVP spoon rest out of the box. Depending on which side you are viewing, it looks very much like a stainless steel baby's bottom or a shiny pair of cattle testicles. I highly doubt you could place this on the Thanksgiving dinner… Read more

This is an offshoot of my previous list, "Bedtime books for young children." During the holidays, I add these books to our bedtime reading rotation. There's magic, humor and reminders to be thankful for the blessings of the season.
I received a lot of great feedback from my first Nintendo DS list (Young boys' Nintendo DS games) and requests for more superhero titles.
There's few fun superhero games available for young players. I look for games that are easy to understand, avoid unnecessary gore and language, and capture&hellip Read more
