In My Own Words:
Hi everyone. Although I'm a long-time Amazon.com customer, I recently started to participate more in the Amazon community by reviewing products, regardless on where and when I purchased them or even if I own them. Basically, I tried all the products I review and I hope that my advice is valuable for everyone who is deciding whether or not a certain book, CD, DVD or whatever else is worth the money… Read moreHi everyone. Although I'm a long-time Amazon.com customer, I recently started to participate more in the Amazon community by reviewing products, regardless on where and when I purchased them or even if I own them. Basically, I tried all the products I review and I hope that my advice is valuable for everyone who is deciding whether or not a certain book, CD, DVD or whatever else is worth the money.
Let me say that all my reviews are not professionally written, so it's better not to expect writing masterpieces from me. My reviews reflect only my personal impressions about the item and such impression can either be too simplistic and somehow empty or too enthusiastic. Surely I'll try to be as precise and clear as possible in every review, but my main goal is to give a general and rough perception from a customer point of view. No articles, no synopsis, no interviews with authors and/or artists and anything that you would only find in specialized magazines and newspapers. Just simple and plain customer reviews.
However, you can help me improve the quality of my reviews by voting on helpful/non-helpful buttons at the bottom of each of my reviews. Whenever you feel like my judgment is not accurate or simply unfair, let me know by leaving a comment. I'll love to share my point of view with all of you. Thanks!!!

This live set is substantially better than From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah in my opinion. Maybe this is because it contains more tracks originally found on Nevermind, which has to be one of my favorite albums of the 90s, and potentially of all time. Maybe this is because the sound quality of this album is just better than the 1996 effort. Maybe it's because it contains other live versions of the very same music found on "Muddy Banks" that I'm thrilled to rediscover after leaving that CD stuck on the shelf for years.

A quick look at the RIAA's Gold and Platinium database reveals that Carrie Underwood is probably the most successful act coming out of American Idol in terms of album sales/commercial success, rivaling that spot only with Kelly Clarkson. Some Hearts combined with Carnival Ride sold at least 9 million copies, which is the same number as Kelly's first three albums combined. Keeping such enviable career track for a relatively new artist coming from a TV show where contestants (even the winning ones) are easily forgotten not long after their… Read more

Upon listening to this album, I thought Layne Staley was somehow brought back to life again. Maybe someone will disagree, but I can't help but reminding of Layne when I hear the new vocalist William DuVall perform on this very welcomed return of Alice in Chains. Actually, the similarity is a good thing in my opinion.
Not only the impressive vocal resemblance caught my attention. I was amazed to realize that the band's sonority was kept quite the same as fans were used to listen back in the 90s. Clearly, Jerry Cantrell and the guys did not forget who they are and what they used to do and delivered us with a piece of recording that provide us with a true journey back in time… Read more

While we have in this first decade of the 21st century very few good examples of music, let's travel through the tunnel of time and revisit some artists that took music to the next level in a way we enjoyed so much, and still enjoy these days! More good examples to be added soon.
