Touching and inspiring without being schmaltzy. The author takes us on a weekly journey - by offering us a peek into her journal of thoughts and fears - as she faces and ultimately triumphs over breast cancer. This realistic look is filled with touching and humorous observations. If you or someone you know is going through treatment for early stage breast cancer, Tucker's insights are invaluable. She demystifies the "c" word and reinforces the truth that maintaining the gift of laughter and one's personal support network of friends and family may be just as valuable as medical treatment.
