5.0 out of 5 stars Keeps getting better..., May 19, 2011
Nathan Lowell does what few authors can...make each successive book better than the previous one. While Full Share remains true to Nathan's goal of exploring the lives of ordinary people, what we find is something truly extraordinary--the coming of age of a character that we just love spending time with. Nathan's Solar Clipper has been compared to the addictiveness of crack cocaine and a return to classic Heinlein; I think both descriptions are well deserved.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Resource anywhere for query letters, January 11, 2009
This is by far the single best resource for detailing the query letter process. Noah Lukeman is an undisputed expert in the subject having reviewed (by his estimation) 100,000 letters over a 10 year period.

This short is well organized, concise, and packed with invaluable insight. The fact that Mr. Lukeman has made this available at no cost goes to show his generosity in aiding would be authors realize their dreams.

I tell every author I can about this short. I've read many books and blogs before coming across it and without a doubt it is the single best source on the subject to be found anywhere. Thank you Mr. Lukeman!

It is a period of anarchy between the reign of King Henry I and King Henry II, and if you are knowledgeable about this period, some of the story might be spoiled, particularly at the end where the story dovetails with famous historical events.

The story is about a handful of people: A destitute mason who seeks to build a cathedral, a kindly monk struggling to make the world a better place, a woman believed to be a witch, a young brother and sister--once… Read more
