In My Own Words:
I homeschool for various reasons & write for a zombie website (you can find out more thru my Facebook link). As much as I love horror, I do read other fiction genres, such as sci-fi & fantasy, and sometimes even non-fiction. I can also be found at Twitter under AstraDaemon.

In the past, I've read some of Tonia Brown's other work: Lucky Stiff (an erotic zombie novel), Chick Magnet in Hell Hath No Fury..., and Doomsday Ramblings in Eye Witness: Zombie. Artemisia allows her emotions to disrupt the ongoing research with Adam, and, as an… Read more

Not only are all of these stories post-apocalyptic, but many of them are full of futuristic technology and/or take place years after a zombie outbreak. I thought several of them were more sci-fi than horror, but they are all pretty good, with some being more entertaining than others. DANCING WITH THE DEAD by Barry Rosenberg features undead created by too much fast food & video games. The zombies are used for domestic service, and this POV centers on a residents' home. It struck as being one of the more sci-fi stories. MEMORIAL DAY by Mike Barretta tells the story of a young man who recognizes his undead dad working on a county project. With a sci-fi tone, Barretta… Read more

Thank goodness for DVDs because there are some VHS movies that I watched so much, I wore the tapes out. Now I can share some of my childhood favorites with my son. This is my top ten list of 80s movies that the whole family can enjoy.
