Very Good Shade - but not compatible with traditional Incadescent Bulbs, January 25, 2012

This is a pretty typical shade for a small light. Good quality. Exactly what I was looking for for my older table lamp.

However, there is a caution that should be included in the item descriptions for these shades: The spring clips inside these shades are not sized to fit over the old style incandescent bulbs (now going out of production in US). The spring clips will fit over candlabra style (oblong) incandescent or halogen bulbs, or inside a larger Compact Flourescent (CFC) bulb (75-Watt equivalents or larger). useful for Emergency / Camping Power, May 25, 2011

Bought this primarily to use to power my CPAP machine while sleeping on camping trips, and to have as a charger / power source for other devices. It is pretty well designed, with the exception of the inflater tube door - which arrived broken. It charges through a small AC/DC adapter that comes loose but can be stored in the inflater tube storage compartment. It powered my 1.5A / 12V CPAP machine for 8 hours, and the battery still shows fully charged. The LED light provide a lot of light in a fairly narrow are (good enough to read in a tent). Poor User Interface - 6 Reboots in 3 Days - Died in car, May 25, 2011

This was a piece of junk - after 5 very frustrating days I returned it to Amazon as defective.

I bought the Archos 43 primarily to use as an MP3 player, but with the ability to be a limited web appliance while I travel. I was replacing a Microsoft Zume that "disappeared", but wanted something with a little more functionality for checking email, playing games and browsing the web so i wouln't need to travel with both a work and personal computer.

I considered an iPod Touch, but I'm not a big fan of Apple iTunes as it tries to take over your computer. I've worked with other Droid tablets and thought this might be the right solution. it size is very good, and I wan't… Read more
