OK, what does "Go RTFM!" mean? It's a take-off on an old geek and military term, and stands for "Go Read That Fine Manual". or any other way you want to put it.
I do reply to messages, so drop me an e-mail message or a note. And thanks for reading this!

A single father, have a gifted son who keeps me on my toes - my best friend and constant companion. Enjoy photography, especially with the new digital cameras, an interest shared with my son, and we're both Buzznet Originals.
Aspiring fiction author, with books in the works... one of these days.
Very eclectic taste in music, running from classical to new age to rock and jazz.
Have reviewed other items here in the UK and the US ranging from from cameras to computer gear to garden tools. It's fun!
Let's face it, bike seats are going to wear out over time. The most expensive saddles are going to break down over time, and even with a premium gel seat from five or six years ago, you're going to feel the pain in that "important area" when you take a drop with an mountain bike (MTB) or bump a curb with a street cruiser.
If you look carefully at the photos of this Planet Bike Men's A.R.S. Anatomic Relief Bicycle Saddle you'll see that it has a cut-out center relief zone in just the right area. From a personal perspective this rider found that the "love channel" section works like… Read more
I looked at the cover of Women in Technology after the esteemed Chris Locke brought it to my attention, noting the cougar on the cover of the book. I thought it to be oddly appropriate.
Then I found this from author Tatiana Apandi: "The animal that I've chosen to represent this series is the lioness. Although the lion is often called the King of the Jungle, lion society is actually ruled by its females. Lionesses are the ones primarily responsible for providing sustenance for their entire pride. She is a natural leader. When hunting, each lioness plays to her strengths. She even… Read more
There are pens, and then there are writing instruments. A good writing instrument can be a pen, but is has a precision feel when in use, unquestioned reliability, and is designed for many years of use.
The Caran d'Ache Ecridor Chevron Silver Plated Ballpoint Pen falls into that later category, for it's far more than just another ballpoint pen. It's completely crafted in Switzerland, and from the moment that one picks it up, one notices the craftsmanship.
My first Caran d'Ache writing instrument was identical to this silver plated one, with the exception of having a… Read more
There have been a lot of questions that have popped up in the Kindle (and other) forums requesting information on what free books might be available. So what kind of free Kindle books can be found here? New works, such as Caught Stealing, A Dangerous Man, and Six Bad Things, by by Charlie Huston;&hellip Read more
Business books and resources are changing, as is the world of management and commerce as we used to know it. Some of the classic titles regarding proven management strategies are still effective, but as companies have to adapt to new changes as they never have before, so do those in management.&hellip Read more
The sheer numbers of cameras available on the market today can sometimes be a bit overwhelming, to say the least. The choice of gear and brands available can sometimes leave one wondering just where to start. Hopefully this will help clear things up a bit. Kindle books, too many others that could be added here, especially those books that deal with the craft and art of writing. Must admit to being an unabashed fan of Richard Lederer, the original verbivore, and of Chris "Rageboy" Locke. Also include novels by Tim Dorsey, Carl Hiaasen, Elmore Leonard, Lisa Scottoline, James Lee Burke, Randy Wayne White, Dave Barry and others.
There are many others in such a wide range that could be added here, but this is a very small sample of some of my favorites. Hope to add some reviews in the near future...
Really like these, but have others to add that are as good, and some even better. This is another list of favorites that doesn't do justice to the films that I might call "The Best of the Best."
Crazy list, topped by the new Kindle 2, but very personal, and it does represent a wide time span as well. See my reviews here for more, and what I really think about them.
