Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Lots of creative recipes in this book, beyond the same 'ol, same' ol stews that seem to fill most slow cooker cookbooks.
As with most of the best slow cooker recipes, many of these require additional pre-cooking and prep time, but the end result is worth a little extra. Still a great way to come home to a cooked meal ready to eat.

This is an interesting take on an old classic fairy tale. Instead of cardboard figures, the characters become like real people, with lives, motivations and backgrounds.
I felt the ending was a little bit anti-climactic, but overall enjoyed this book very much. Would pick up another in the series without hesitation.

Love the premise on this one - a very fresh and original way to pack lots of paranormal into the normal world.
I think the author needs to do a little bit more character development, it almost felt like she had so much world built up to get out that she neglected the actual characters a little bit, but it did smooth out as the book went along.
I fully expect subsequent titles in this series to be even better and will definitely pick them up.
Original, interesting, romantic and with a much bigger story still to come. Looking forward to it!
