In The End of Faith, author Sam Harris presents all theistic religion as indefensible adherence to silly, untenable and ancient superstitions. He posits that fundamental discipleship to these religions - namely Christianity, Judaism and Islam - will inevitably lead to ever increasing world conflict in an age of weapons of mass destruction and unfettered transportation.
Mr. Harris suggests that Islam may be the most dangerous of the three monotheistic religions as it counts greater numbers of true fundamentalists in its discipleship.
