This CD features Dale Dykins' "Symphonic Suite." Dykins died April 22, 2009. He was born in Flora, Indiana, and spent his early years in Illinois, Vincennes, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio. He began studying piano at the age of 12, and by the time he was in high school was supplementing his family's income by playing in big bands. He was a scholarship student at the College of Music of Cincinnati from 1937 to 1941, earning a Bachelor of Music Degree with a Diploma in Piano and a Certificate in Organ.
