I've had this book in my bookcase all this time! I got it as a gift, back in 69'-70' from a family friend back when the book 1st came out, and I'm now almost 50 years old and still enjoying this book! It was a joy to read, back when I was 9 years old, and many of the stories and images stayed with me through the years. Every so often, when I want a blast from the past, I dig it out. It's a wonderful book for children of ANY age.. yes even late 40's children like me! ;)

It's OOP now and quite pricey BUT let me assure you that your child (or YOU!) will so enjoy it and it will become a treasured friend. Your child will hang onto it for his/her lifetime and remember who gifted it… Read more

Awesome Sound!, February 3, 2008

These earplugs give awesome sound and, so far, seem quite comfortable! I am pleasantly surprised, as I didnt want to spend alot of money just to replace my Apple earbuds with something more comfy for the office. These are great, and the sound is definitely much better than what I get with the Apple buds and better than the Sonys as well.

Bass is prominent without being overwhelming. I love bass but not when it overwhelms the rest of the spectrum. These are perfect.

My only complaint is that I can't tell which is "right" and "left", no matter how hard I looked (where is the marking???!)- so I had to experiment and finally determined which is which, and I marked… Read more

Fantastic Sound!, September 24, 2005

I just bought these today, so I have yet to experience frayed wires or anything like what others are posting. All I know is that the sound is GREAT! I had Koss-the Plug and the bass was too heavy on them and muffled out everything else. Not so with these. The bass is just right, treble is a bit harsh but not too bad at all and, with a little burning-in period, that will mellow. I'm very happy with them. Warm, full sound. I'm just crossing my fingers that they will last me awhile! They are the most comfortable "in-ear" phones I've tried. I have small ears and the small pads work great.
