I should start by saying I don't read much fantasy. It's probably been more than a decade since I read a fantasy book. I have several hundred books, but I think I could probably count my fantasy books on one hand, and most of those I haven't touched. I do like fantasy/sci-fi, but sometimes those types of books scare me off. Needless to say, from the size of this book, almost 600 pages, I thought this book might be like that. I would not consider this a deep book, but a fairly light read. The book is pretty much G rated also.

Ray Quinn, a former homicide detective is a night watchman. Quinn was disabled after being shot and his female partner was killed.
While Quinn battles an old adversary on the police force during the investigation, he also taps into a number of old friends on the force to aid his efforts. Mynheir has Quinn make good use of modern technology during the investigation.

Not a bad offering. I was pleasantly surprised. The movie plays out with a fairly mellow tone. The movie is very unique, and honestly deals with character emotions.
There are quite a few special features on the DVD, which surprised me.
