Driving Towards The Daylight ~ Joe Bonamassa
3 of 6 people found the following review helpful
Joe Bonamassa has collaborated in/released at least 4 great albums in the last 2 years including his best selling album 'Dust Bowl' in 2011, 'Black Country Communion 2' (as member of rock supergroup BCC) in 2011, collaborated with Beth Hart & released 'Live Over Europe' (BCC) in 2012. The prolific Joe Bonamassa is back with a new CD (11 tracks) : of which 5 are originals in "Dislocated Boy" (great first single), "Driving Towards The Daylight" (incredibly beautiful title track, my favourite track from this CD), "I Got All You Need", "Heavenly Soul" & "Somewhere Trouble Don't Go" and the other 6 are covers. Joe Bonamassa delivers great blues music in this new CD (wonderful blues guitar,… Read more

Storm & Grace [Deluxe Edition] ~ Lisa Marie Presley

Lisa Marie Presley does showcase her song writing talent & great voice in this surprisingly Americana inspired third CD release titled 'Storm & Grace'. She is showing her musical roots as from Memphis (TN), where she grew up as a daughter of the late Elvis Presley in Graceland. It's a quite departure from her very successful 2003 debut 'To Whom It May Concern' & the 2005 sophomore 'Now What' albums. She has the services of the legendary producer T-Bone Burnett (Jakob Dylan, John Mellencamp, Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, etc & inventor of CODE) to help her achieve this new sound & great production. Many musicians like to do this whether we like it or not, but sometimes not all fans may not be… Read more

Heroes ~ Willie Nelson

Legendary country singer-songwriter Willie Nelson is back in 2012 with a great new album titled 'Heroes'. At the age of 79, Willie Nelson shows no sign of slowing down. He collaborated very well with Wynton Marsalis & Eric Clapton in 2011 (a wonderful live CD release titled 'Here We Go : Celebrating The Genius Of Ray Charles') & he's no different here with an uncompromising country CD (14 tracks) release. It's a home coming release with Legacy Records for him with 12 brand new songs & an interesting rock band Pearl Jam's cover "Just Breathe" as well as "The Scientist" from Coldplay's 2002 album. He has guest musicians including Snoop Dogg, Kris Kristofferson & Jamey Johnson in "Roll Me Up"… Read more
