In response to the review by "Big Dog" - if you want everything to match up perfectly - picture and narration, this isn't for you (personally I think its nice to have to think every once in a while, but hey...)
That said, I find this series to be a wonderful insight into parts of China that we never get to see. Television doesn't air documentaries about what you see in these dvds - religious ceremonies, rural life, sporting events, caravans, etc... all in Western China.
If you want the flip-side of Beijing and Shanghai, this series is your best bet. There are more dvd's in the Mysterious China Series that I own: Secrets of the Silk Road, Holy Mountain, Kung Fu… Read more

Considering the ongoing racial controversy between Latinos and American society, this is one of the better statements (on film) ever made about a love affair between the two races.
Heather Locklear wanted the lead role in this film that eventually went to Dawn Dunlap, who was a star in another Roman Polanski film. That might be the one thing about this film that I wish was different, but it doesn't change the quality of the message being sent.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern-day (in the 80s) Romeo and Juliet.
If you want, you can grab it on Amazon's Createspace for a little less. createspace.___/219028 Use the code: ALLXKLKB… Read more

I really do love this pocket-knife. It is incredibly durable, resists rust and is available for a pretty low cost given all the positive things about it!
It has saved me numerous times when I quickly needed a flathead or phillips screwdriver. It has freed an axel of would up string and various other tasks that some other knives aren't up for.
If you can find it below $70, go for it!
