I teach a course in Transnational Crime and have found this primer to be excellent. It is easy to read, interesting, and chock full of very relevant and useful information. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the subject.

This is a very well-written book. Easier and more enjoyable to read than most other text books. Chapters are fairly short and the author provides many real-world examples.

A concise and highly readable overview of 9 transnational crimes explaining what is known about them, their fundamental elements, and offers a systematic approach to their reduction and control. Focuses on the offenders and criminal markets and the pressures that can be brought to bear on them. Nice breakdown of overlapping crime issues!
