This book has the potential to be good. It is quite wordy for someone new to Counseling Studies. It doesn't break down the bottom line of each chapter and some of the exercises that are included could not be completed because of a lack of understanding (of the material).

It is one of those books you have to read and re-read for better understanding.

I knew this book wasn't going to be in excellent condition but it was much worse than I thought. There were water stains, creased pages, and heavy highlighting in the book.

The book was readable, but very dirty and flimsy. I had to clean it up. I was not happy about the condition. However, I will still be using it.

Needed it for a class I was taking. Had some interesting information. Glad I rented not worth buying or keeping!

Purchased for a graduate class, the information was well-detailed and structured as oppose to other books i've seen on similar topics. The information doesn't overwhelm you because of how the author presents it. [...]
