This textbook provides very up-to-date theories and information on the causes and treatments of cancer. It begins with a discussion of cancer in general and moves on to describe its various forms. Throughout the text, it strikes a balance between detail and relevance. In describing the mechanisms of cancer, the book provides an excellent introduction to various cell processes. The book also has chapters on the current treatments, statistical data (and the various methods and jobs associated with it), the history of various types of cancers, and the types and actions of various carcinogens. This book is an excellent text for anyone interested in the various aspects of cancer.
