There are much better options on the market
on April 9, 2013
I'm an ACT tutor and I must say this is the worst book I've used. There are concepts on their practice tests that just aren't in the ACT at all (multiple chord problems, multiple inscribed angle problems, etc). The chapter reviews are actually written well, but the authors just haven't done enough research to figure out which types of concepts are actually on the ACT.
I have a BS in Math and I've been doing ACT tutoring for a year now (I got a 35 on the Math section when I took it in high school) and there were multiple questions on the diagnostic practice test that I didn't remember how to do because they test concepts I haven't used since 8th grade when I took Geometry. The ACT has enough of a backlog that it should be easy to find out that chord problems just aren't on the test. Don't buy this book because it will not improve your scores as much as other books that have representative practice tests.
