Our dare devils LOVE their motorcycles!! We ordered two, one for our 2 yr old and one for our 3 yr old. They both have a blast racing up and down our driveway. This toy flies, and goes much faster downhill than any toy we have had. We have not had an issue with stability as stated in other reviews. It is important to consider toys for children, not always by age, but individual development. Great toy, thanks step 2!!

This bike is one of the few ride-on bikes on this US market. It is the perfect size for my 25-month old. The biggest minus for this product is that the front wheel does not swivel so you cannot steer the wheel. It also can be little wabbly, but my son was able to get used to it quickly and is able to keep his balance on it (indoor only so far). Turning around the corner is the biggest challenge.

I bought this for my 2yr old grandson for his birthday so he could have a motorcycle like his Grandma. He LOVED it! The wheels are wide enough to keep it from tipping and it's light enough and just the right size to throw in the car to take along. He has to make his own "motor noise", but that's a plus in my book. No batteries to replace or noises to annoy! Also his very tall 3 1/2 year old brother can ride it comfortably, so I look for it to last a long time.

I had my reservations about buying this product after reading a few negative reviews, but I can honestly say now that this toy is a heck of a deal, especially for the price. We bought it for my 2-year-old son for Christmas and assembled it on Christmas Eve. It took him a few days to completely get the hang of it, and now he zooms around our house like a little speed demon!

The motorcycle was a cinch to assemble, even if the directions weren't perfect. It is durable and sturdy once put together. The stickers seem to be holding up fine after about a month. We do keep it inside only. The motorcycle can hold a LOT of weight. My 100lb 11-year-old has ridden on it with my 2-year-old (it's a very tight fit, and her knees are on the ground, but they still have fun). My son's 3-year-old friend also rides double with my son. They have a blast.

As some reviewers have mentioned, the front wheel does not turn. The handlebars are just to hold onto, not to steer. The fact that the front wheel does not turn is extremely helpful for my son because he is too young to understand how to steer. Right now he just slides the front of the bike in whatever direction he wants to go. This is perfect for teaching him the beginning basics of steering, and it also prevents a lot of crashes because he can lean on the handlebars without worrying about them suddenly veering one way or the other.

This motorcycle is teaching my son balance. He has crashed a few times, but what kid hasn't? And the crashes are much fewer now that he's gotten the hang of it. I have a feeling his balance will be much better once he starts riding a real 2-wheel bike.

I cannot say enough good things about this motorcycle. Such a great toy at such a phenomenal price.

I bought this Motorcycle for my cousin's little guy for his second birthday. Him and his older brother, 5, absolutely love it. They are always fighting over it. Even when the 5 year olds friends come over it's all they want ot play with. It was sturdy enough for a clumsy 2 year old. He has horrible balance and still able to stay on it. The only thing I have to say is... If you have more than one child... You may want more than one Motorcycle.

I have purchased 4 of these motorcycles. Two were for 2 year olds and 2 were for 1 year olds. They are all still playing with them and our one grandchild is now a little over 3 and big for his age. Great for the outdoors and actually the only toy that I got them that I have ever seen them play with. I don't know what happened to the other toys, probably garage sailed away and they weren't cheap. This motorcycle is a good bang for the buck. Sincerely, Motorcycle Granny

Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son as it states from step2 age is recommended for 2 1/2 and up, here it says 12 months and up. Anyways, it was very SMALL for him and he is not a big kid BUT he loved it and rode it back and forth, back and forth. The wheels did not hold up well at all though and is impossible for me to get replacement wheels for it. We only used this for about 2 months due to size issues. I think a 12 month old would have a tough time balancing it as it is not wide and stable like most ride ons.

Read the instructions, account for all the pieces and you will be just fine. What a great alternative to a power wheels and WAY cheaper too, $30 is a steal. Bike looks great, with the parallel wheels the bike sits up on its own so my 20 month-old has no problem getting on it. He only struggles when his 4 year-old sister commandeers it at which point a fight ensues.

It is currently snowing and much too cold outside for my children to use it there so I don't have anything to report on the outside usage. But my son runs it all over the carpet, hard wood and tile without issue. Wheels roll fine, balance is not an issue because of the wheel setup and it seems to be a good height for him, he can swing his leg over it with no problem, he is 32 inches tall. My daughter (the 4 year-old) is 42 inches and she fits on it and has fun but she is clearly too big.
A great present, my son loves it, rides it as soon as he gets up every morning. This was the best Christmas buy for sure!

This little motorcycle is cute. However, it's very lightweight and is similar in quality to a ride-on toy that could be purchased for much less at any discount retailer. The stickers do seem to be of high quality and to date, none have peeled off. The extreme shipping price added another $10 to the $19.99 price tag. This is definately not a $30 toy.

I purchased this for my 2 1/2 yr. old grandson from a famous toy store at a higher price than offered here. The kids pictued on the box seemed to be having an enjoyable time. The instructions were not that great. There were 4 pieces called bushings that had no guidance for installation. I had already assembled the front wheels when I figured out the bushing was supposed to be on it. Too late, I couldn't pry apart the assembled wheel to add it however it was applied to the back wheel. The handlebar grips were impossible to slide onto the bar. I had to rub petroleum jelly inside the grips and on the bar in order to assemble it with some ease. Once assembled, it looked ok. It was lightweight, somewhat flimsy but strangely had a durable feeling at the same time. My grandson was excited to try it out. He was the perfect size for it. Seems suitable for ages 2 plus to 3 1/2. No longevity in my opinion. My grandson seemed awkward on this toy and had some difficulty balancing and steering since this toy had fixed straight ahead steering. He tipped over a few times (had his toddler helmet on) and often veered into the grass from the sidewalk and had to keep adjusting the direction of the motorcycle. I felt sorry for his effort. Not much fun to be had in this situation. The lights and sounds on this thing are pathetic, he didn't even know they existed until I pointed it out. After 10 minutes he ditched this toy and opted for his kick scooter which he is good at and throughly enjoys. Overall I am disappointed with this purchase. I definitely overpaid and don't feel this toy is worth more than fifteen dollars. I don't have storage space for unused toys so I will give it away or toss it out on garbage day. This was an impusle purchase while in the toy store. I usually do my homework on items before purchase. Hopefully this will help someone else.
